Dave Q. Anderson, 65

Dave Q. Anderson passed away on December 31, 2023 at Pinewood Square Assisted Living in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

Dave was born on May 30, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN to Dale and Dorothy (Edwardson) Anderson. After graduating from Badger High School, he attended Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls, MN where he earned a degree in electronics in May of 1978. He worked as a software engineer at Unisys in Minneapolis, MN for 27 ½ years until his retirement. He enjoyed living in Coon Rapids for many years until he had to move down to Charleston, SC to live with his sister, Diane, and his niece, Noel, for health reasons.

Dave loved golfing, playing softball, playing cornhole (bags), camping, biking, hunting, fishing, reading, and watching television. He was a huge Twins fan and enjoyed watching every game. Dave had a great sense of humor and just loved to talk to people about a wide range of subjects.

Dave was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Anderson on May 22, 1986 , his father, Dale Anderson on February 17, 2014, and his brother Danny Anderson on February 8, 2023.

His sister, Dolleen Anderson, passed away on January 4, 2024.

Dave is survived by his sister Diane Pellegrini of SC; stepmother, Ethel Kay Anderson of MN; stepbrother, Laverne (Bernie) Brazier of MN; stepchildren, Dean Sherwood of MN, Jennifer Reopelle of MN, Holly Cox of NY; nieces, Nicole Pellegrini of AZ, Noel Pellegrini of SC, Tara Anderson of MN, Hanna Anderson of AZ; and nephews, Nicholas Pellegrini of VT, Joshua Anderson of MN;

Special thanks is extended to the wonderful staff at Pinewood Square in Goose Creek, SC. Their kindness and loving care meant so much to Dave and his family.

A Memorial Service for Dave Anderson will be held at Rose Free Lutheran Church on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 am, with a visitation an hour prior. Interment will be held at Moe-Rose Cemetery.
