Joyce Marie Mooney, 87

Joyce Marie Mooney (Penas) was born May 6, 1936, and passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 87. Joyce is proceeded in death by her parents Joseph and Hjordis Penas, brothers Ted, Daryl and Howard (Butch) Penas; twin sisters; son, James; and grandson Devvin Hasson. Joyce is survived by sisters Gail (Max) Ybarra and Norma Goings, daughter Deb Lorenson, sons Danny (Joni) Mooney, Greg Mooney, Jason (Holly) Mooney, grandchildren Daydra (David) Bauman, Alisha (Ben) Evans, Alexis Mooney, Shanoah Mooney, Sierrah Mooney, Eva Mooney, Liem Mooney and Johanna Mooney; eight great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews and friends. Joyce will be laid to rest at Washburn-McReavy Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. In lieu of flowers or memorials, we are asking for a donation to be made to your local fire department.
