Agenda for the Greenbush-Middle River School Board Special Meeting to be held in the

3. Approve Agenda
Recommendation to add items to the agenda from Board Members or School
Administrators.
Suggested Board Action:
Motion by Allison Harder, second by Brandon Ignaszewski, to approve the agenda as
submitted/amended.
4. Citizen Comments
All speakers are asked to complete the Listening Session Sign-in Form including as
much detail as possible and including a printed / written copy of your presentation if one
is available. This is an opportunity for the Board to listen, the Board will not engage in
dialogue. As a general rule, the Board will not comment on or respond to any comments
made by speakers. Please do not include names of Greenbush Middle River School
students, employees or representatives, their title, or location in your remarks for your
own legal protection and the legal rights of students and staff.
Each speaker will have five (5) minutes to speak: speakers may not roll their time to
another speaker. Speakers will be timed and are asked to complete their comments in
this time frame. Board members may ask questions if needed. Please begin your
presentation by stating your name and topic only.
In the spirit of fairness to all participants, we request that you respect the format above.

Motion by Allison Harder second by Ross Waage, to approve the minutes of the
January 21, 2026 Regular board meeting as presented.

Suggested board action: Motion by Ross Waage, seconded by Peter Kern to
approve payments of bills; check #42591cthrough #42664 for a total of
$108,664.38 and purchasing card electronic payments dated 2-18-26 and electronic
fund transfers as submitted.

1. NWRIC - Kurt attended meeting.

accept with gratitude the following gifts and donations:
3. Approve the hiring of Maria Draper as K-12 music/Band/Choir teacher for the
2026-2027 school year pending MN licensure.
Motion by Allison Harder second by Brandon Ignaszewski to approve the hiring of
Maria Draper as K-12 music/Band/Choir teacher for the 2026-2027 school year
pending MN licensure.
4. Accept the resignation of Todd Bergeron as the 3rd Grade Teacher effective at
the end of the 2025-2026 school year and move to open the position.
Motion by Brandon Ignaszewski, second by Kurt Stenberg to accept the resignation
of Todd Bergeron as the 3rd Grade Teacher effective at the end of the 2025-2026
school year and move to open the position.
5. Accept the resignation of Terry Burkel as bus driver effective at the conclusion
of the 2025-2026 school year and open the position.
Motion by SueAnn Wahl, second by Ross Waage to accept the resignation of Terry
Burkel as bus driver effective at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year and
move to open the position.
