Minutes of Work Session Special Meeting

Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 7:45 A.M. in the Badger School Business & Tech Classroom 29 

 

1.     The meeting was called to order by Board Chair Isane at 7:50 A.M. 

 

1.A. Roll Call: Jodie Davy, Jamie Isane, Jeramy Swenson, and Jared VonEnde            Absent: Cari Dostal, Brent Olson (Arrived at 7:52 A.M.) 

                               

1.B. Administration and Department Heads: Daniel Carpenter 

 

2.     Visitors in Attendance: None 

 

3.     Award Milk Bid for the 2025-2026 School Year 

A motion was made by Member VonEnde to award the 2025-2026 Badger ISD #676 Milk Bid to Cass Clay Creamer of Fargo, ND. The motion was seconded by Member Davy. Discussion: None. BE IT RESOLVED the motion carries by a 4 Yes to 0 No vote. (Olson: Absent) 

 

4.     Approve Employment: Preschool Paraprofessional 

A motion was made by Member Davy to approve the hire of Michelle Weber as a regular part-time 7.25 paid hours per school day (Mondays-Thursdays only) Preschool Paraprofessional, contingent upon completion of a criminal history background check. Pay scale placement will be $18.50 per hour (Step 12 of the Non-certified staff pay scale.) The motion seconded by Member Swenson. Discussion: None. BE IT RESOLVED, the motion carries by a 5 Yes to 0 No vote. U.C. 

 

5.     Adjourn 

A motion was made by Member VonEnde to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 A.M. The motion seconded by Member Olson.
