Agenda for the Greenbush-Middle River School Board Regular Meeting to be held in the Greenbush Middle River School Library, 401 Park Avenue West, Greenbush, MN 56726 on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM.

Suggested Board Action: Motion by Peter Kern, second by SueAnn Wahl, to approve the agenda as submitted/amended. 

4. Citizen Comments 

All speakers are asked to complete the Listening Session Sign-in Form including as much detail as possible and including a printed / written copy of your presentation if one is available. This is an opportunity for the Board to listen, the 

Board will not engage in dialogue. As a general rule, the Board will not comment on or respond to any comments made by speakers. Please do not include names of Greenbush Middle River School students, employees or representatives, their title, or location in your remarks for your own legal protection and the legal rights of students and staff. Each speaker will have five (5) minutes to speak: speakers may not roll their time to another speaker. Speakers will be timed and are asked to complete their comments in this time frame. Suggested Board Action: Motion by Brandon Ignaszewski second by Allison Harder, to approve the minutes of the September 15, 2025 Regular board meeting as presented.

2. Pay Claims 

Suggested board action: Motion by Brandon Ignaszewski, seconded by Peter Kern to approve payments of bills; check # 42295 through # 42389 for a total of $255,985.99 and purchasing card electronic payments dated 10-20-25 and electronic fund transfers as submitted.

3. Approve the Fall Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Minnesota Crookston for the College in the High School Program. 

Motion by Allison Harder second by Brandon Ignaszewski to approve the Fall Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Minnesota Crookston for the College in the High School Program. 

4. Approve the Resolution of Governing Board supporting Form A application to Minnesota State High School League Foundation. 

Motion by Brandon Ignaszewski second by Peter Kern to approve the Resolution of Governing Board supporting Form A application to Minnesota State High School League Foundation. 

5. Approve the agreement with LifeCare Public Health to provide school health nursing services to students of the Greenbush-Middle River School. 

Motion by Danielle Berg second by SueAnn Wahl to approve the agreement with LifeCare Public Health to provide school health nursing services to students of the Greenbush-Middle River School. 

6. Approve the Emerging Status School Commitment Form for Girls Team Dual Wrestling with the MSHSL. 

Motion by Peter Kern second by Brandon Ignaszewski to approve the Emerging Status School Commitment Form for Girls Team Dual Wrestling with the MSHSL. 

7. Accept the resignation of Kayla Balstad as JH Girls Basketball coach and to hire Julia Braaten for the position.

8. Approve the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategies Grant Program Agreement with the Northwest Regional Development 

Commission (NWRDC).

9. Approve the Professional Services Agreement with ICS for Long-Range Facility Planning.

10. Approve the opening of the Kitchen Supervisor position with a start date of January 5, 2026.
