Obituary/imothy John Kalinowski,70
October 20, 2025
Timothy John Kalinowski, age 70, of Lake Bronson, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 8, 2025, after battling neuroendocrine cancer.
Born on April 18, 1955, in Karlstad, Minnesota, Timothy lived and worked his entire life on the family farm in Lake Bronson—the place he proudly called home. Following in his father’s footsteps, he took over the family farming operations and later continued his father’s legacy of public service, serving as a supervisor in Pelan Township for 40 years.
Before beginning his long career at Polaris, where he was employed for 18 years, Timothy worked at Marvin Windows for 3 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, integrity, and quiet strength—qualities that guided him in both his professional and personal life.
On June 25, 1983, Timothy married the love of his life, Holly (Brosdahl). Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, and the simple joys of rural living.
Timothy enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—deer hunting, fishing, and cheering on his favorite sports teams. He was an avid watcher of NCAA March Madness as well as professional NFL football.
He is survived by his loving wife, Holly Kalinowski; his son, Andrew Kalinowski; his daughter, Christina Koncker; and his son-in-law, Jim Koncker. Timothy’s devotion to his family and commitment to his community will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
May he rest in God’s eternal peace.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Greenbush, MN, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help support Andrew’s cancer treatments, a cause that was very close to Timothy’s heart. Donations can be made directly via GoFundMe here https://gofund.me/66a35d050.
