4.1. A motion was made by Member Davy to approve the agenda for the Monday, November 21, 2022 Regular School Board Meeting as presented. The motion seconded by Member Olson. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C. = motion carried unanimously.
5. Minutes
5.1. A motion was made by Member Swenson to approve the minutes of the Regular School Board Meeting held on Monday, October 10, 2022 as presented. The motion seconded by Member Davy. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C.

9. Proposed Resolutions
9.1. Long Term Substitute Music Teacher: A motion was made by Member Rhen to approve the hire of Katie Rhen as
long term substitute music teacher from November 16, 2022 to March 1, 2023 (subject to change) at a
$249.28 daily rate of pay plus pro-rated benefits per to Badger Ed. Assoc. Teacher Agreement. The motion seconded by Member Dostal. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C. Attachments: (3)
9.2. Long Term Substitute Elementary Grade 4 Teacher: A motion was made by Member Davy to approve the hire of Katelyn Kofstad as the long term substitute elementary grade 4 teacher from December 12, 2022 to March 9, 2023 (subject to change). Daily rate pay will be $139.20 while Minnesota Teacher License is pending. Upon issuance of Minnesota teacher license through Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), then the daily rate of pay will be $249.28 plus pro-rated benefits per to Badger Ed. Assoc. Teacher Agreement contingent upon appropriate licensure. The motion seconded by Member Rhen. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C. Attachment: (1)
Description: Another licensed MN teacher will also need to be in the classroom short term.
9.3. Accept Teacher Resignation: A motion was made by Member Olson to accept the resignation of Sherri Kukowski, Math Teacher at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 school year. The motion seconded by Member Dostal.

9.4. Accept Coach Resignation: A motion was made by Member Rhen to accept the resignation of John Lee, Head BGMR Football Coach. The motion seconded by Member Davy. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C. Attachment: (1)
Description: Sincere thank you for 15 years of football coaching service, 10 of those 15 years serving as head coach.
9.5. Approve Advertising for a Para: A motion was made by Member Olson to approve advertising for a regular part-time (Jr. High & Sr. High) Special Education Paraprofessional position for 7.25 hours per school day by no later than the start of second semester on Mon., Jan. 23, 2023. The motion seconded by Member Dostal. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C.

Description: Our caseload in the K-12 special education department for the numbers ofIndividual Education Plans (IEPs) has increased since the previous academic year and will increase more upon completion of pending evaluations.
9.6. Approve Shot Clock and Scoreboard Purchases: A motion was made by Member Swenson to the purchase of shot clocks and scoreboards from Daktronics for price of $15,035 which does not include installation. The motion seconded by Member Rhen. 6-Yes and 0-No vote; U.C. Attachments: (2)
Description: Implementation of a 35-second shot clock begins in the future 2023-2024 season for Boys and Girls Basketball for varsity-level competition required by the Minnesota State High School League.
Two quotes from two different venders are provided. The recommendation is Daktronics (same vender, same/similar operating system as GMR as well as several other area schools.)
Donations could be solicited to help offset expenses.
