1. Call to Order at 7:30 P.M.
2. Roll Call: Shane Kilen, Brandon Kuznia, Joe Melby, Carrie Jo Howard, Brandon Ignaszewski, Kurt Stenberg, Allison Harder

4. Recommendation to add items to the agenda from Board members or School Administrators
5. Approval of Agenda
5.1. A motion was made by Allison Harder, seconded by Kurt Stenberg to approve the agenda of the October 17, 2022 Regular Board Meeting as presented. Motion unanimously carried.
6. Minutes
6.1. A motion was made by Carrie Jo Howard, seconded by Allison Harder to approve the minutes of the preceding regular meeting of September 19, 2022. Motion unanimously carried.
7. Business Services
7.1. A motion was made by Kurt Stenberg, seconded by Carrie Jo Howard to approve the payment of bills check #39642 through #39727 for a total of $152,963.97 and Purchasing Card electronic payments dated 09/07/2022 and Electronic Funds Transfers as submitted. Motion unanimously carried.
7.2. Treasurer’s Report
7.3. Greenbush Middle River School District Budget to Actual Expenditure Report (as previously requested by board member to provide on monthly basis).
8. Significant School Events and Communication:
8.1. MN Public Radio & Prairie Public TV featuring GMR Art Teacher
8.2. Accept Terry M. Howard Memorial donation to be directed to a proposed softball restroom/storage/pressbox project. Motion by Board Member Allison Harder, seconded by Kurt Stenberg to accept donation. Motion unanimously carried.
9. Old Business
9.1. School Board Sub-Committee Report on a proposed Outdoor Restroom & Storage & Pressbox building). Board Committee to continue to meet with regards to this project.
9.2. School Board Sub-Committee Report reviewing administrative structure effective with the 2023-2024 school year. Board Committee to continue to meet with regards to this project.
9.3. School Board Sub-Committee Report on Joint Powers Agreement with Tri-County School District. Board Committee to continue to meet with regards to this project.
10. New Business:
10.1. Assurance of Compliance Annual Reporting
Motion by Board Member Carrie Jo Howard, seconded by Allison Harder to approve the Greenbush Middle River School District’s 2022-2023 Assurance of Compliance with state and federal law and verification of Mandated Reporting. Motion unanimously carried.
10.2. Board Approval of World’s Best Work Force Annual Report
Motion by Board Member Kurt Stenberg, seconded by Carrie Jo Howard to approve the Greenbush Middle River School District’s 2021-2022 World’s Best Workforce Report. Motion unanimously carried.
10.3. Approve MSHSL grant application to offset Student Activity Fees:
A motion was made by Board Member Joe Melby to adopt a resolution by the Governing Board of Independent School District No. 2683 Greenbush Middle River, Minnesota supporting its FORM A application to Minnesota State High School League Foundation. The following motion was seconded by Allison Harder.
WHEREAS, the Minnesota State High School League Foundation was formed to provide support for Minnesota’s high school youth to participate in athletics and fine arts; recognizes the value of student participation in extracurricular activities; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Board of Independent School District No. 2683 Greenbush Middle River, Minnesota recognizes the value of student participation in extracurricular activities; and
WHEREAS, the MSHSL Foundation is offering grants and funding to assist schools in recognizing, promoting and funding extra-curricular participation by high school students in athletic and fine arts programs supports the school’s application to the Minnesota State High School League Foundation for a FORM A grant to offset student activity fees.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Board of Independent School District No. 2683 Greenbush Middle River, Minnesota.
Adopted this 17th day of October, 2022.

Motion made by Carrie Jo Howard, seconded by Kurt Stenberg to ADJOURN. Motion unanimously carried.
