Richard’s Remembrance of Debbie
Don’t remember me with sadness, don’t remember me with tears, remember all the laughter we’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented, that my life it was worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind,  I’m walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy, just because I’m out of sight,  remember that I’m with you, each morning, noon, and night.
Deborah was born September 28th, 1956 in Chicago Illinois to John Mason the 2nd and Audrey Mason. Deborah was the oldest sibling of four, followed by John, Amy, and Pete. She moved from Chicago to Greenbush, MN and attended Greenbush High School where she graduated in 1975. She was a part of the boy’s golf team! She was a nurse’s aide through high school and assisted many nurses in helping patients.
On July 24th, 1976 she married Richard Ryan in Greenbush, MN at Blessed Sacrament Church, which changed her life for the better. One year after being married they moved from Greenbush to Auburn, WA, where they had three loving children, daughters Janell and Holly and their son Ben. During their years of growing together they loved traveling, gold mining, and visiting the ocean, but most of she loved her family, her kids and grandkids, Trinity, Kimmie, Lilly and Eric. She was always surrounded by loved ones and supported each one of her kids and grandkids until the very end. On her own time, she loved gardening, flowers, and enjoyed playing board and card games. Deborah had two known nicknames. The first was “The TV Channel Surfing Queen” in which she enjoyed shows like “The Big Bang Theory” and most of all “The Three Stooges” with her brother John. She enjoyed the hummingbirds at the windows so much that her other nickname was “The Hummingbird Queen”.
Deborah passed away quietly on November 11th, 2023. She was laid to rest on January 20th 2024 at Enumclaw Evergreen Memorial Park. Deborah had a long life of being a wonderful wife, a loving mother and a role model to each of her grandchildren She will be dearly missed.
Memorials can be made to All Saints Parish, 503 3rd St SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.
