SMOKEY the Bear Visits Badger Kindergarten

On Thursday, September 28, SMOKEY the Bear and his ranger friends visited the Badger kindergarten classroom. SMOKEY teaches how to prevent human-caused wildfires and how to protect animal habitats. SMOKEY and the rangers helped the kindergarten class put on a skit teaching the correct way to enjoy a campfire and how to make sure it is completely out before leaving one’s campsite. Each student received a bag of learning resources to reinforce this classroom message.
