Badger Music Earns Success

The Badger Concert Band, under the direction of Lisa Erickson and Dan Carpenter, competed in the MSHSL Subsection 32 Large Group Instrumental Music Contest on Tuesday, February 28 at Roseau High School. It performed two pieces: "In This Quiet Place" by Robert Sheldon, and "Festivo" by Vaclav Nelhybel. The Concert Band received a "Superior" Rating from each of the three judges, earning it an overall "Superior" Rating for its performance-- the highest rating a group can earn. (submitted photo)
