Finding his own way to win-- Masen Swenson named a state ExCEL Award winner

Badger junior Masen Swenson was recognized as one of 40 Minnesota high school juniors to earn the Minnesota State High School League’s (MSHSL) ExCEL Award at the state level. The state ExCEL winners will be recognized on 45TV during the winter tournaments and in an on-court ceremony during the Class AA Girls Basketball State Tournament championship game in March from Williams Arena in Minneapolis. Being a leader to Swenson means stepping up, taking challenges, and a being role model to younger classmates and teammates—encouraging them to keep going through the ups and downs.
