Gators clinch section championship at home-- Earn two seed at state

Gator seniors Elizabeth Gust, Tessany Blazek, Cassie Dahl, and Kinsley Hanson celebrate with the Section 8A Championship trophy in front of their home fans following the team’s 3-1 victory over the Red Lake Falls Eagles on June 1— securing the program's eleventh section title, but first on its own home field. The Gators earned the second seed at state and will open the Class A State Softball Tournament versus the Section 5A Champion, the Menahga Braves, at 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 8 from Caswell Park in North Mankato.
